The Clerk of Courts is elected by the people to serve the citizens and the courts of Fayette County by keeping up-to-date and accurate information and by maintaining the security and integrity of all criminal records entrusted to the Clerk of Courts Office.

County Controller
The Office of the County Controller supervises the fiscal affairs of the county including the books and records and fiscal actions of those who collect receive, hold or disburse the public money of the county, subject to the power and duty of the county commissioners to manage and administer the fiscal affairs of the county.

Coroner's Office
The mission of the Coroner's Office is forever committed to advance the accurate determination of the cause and manner of death through science, medicine and the law with knowledge, skills, integrity and compassion.

District Attorney's Office
The Fayette County District Attorney's office is overseen by the District Attorney, Richard E. Bower. He is the chief law enforcement officer in Fayette County.

Jury Commissioners
It is the Mission of the Jury Commissioners to provide the Court of Common Pleas of Fayette County, in an ethical, efficient, and cost-effective manner, a pool of qualified jurors diverse in age, ethnic background, gender, and life experience.

Prothonotary
The Prothonotary serves as the chief clerk of the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas and is responsible for recording all civil procedures.

The Recorder of Deeds is responsible for recording documents in two main areas: Real Estate and Uniform Commercial Code.

The County Treasurer's Office is multi-functional. We are charged with the responsibility of properly receipting and depositing all revenue remitted to the County from various sources, as well as a number of other responsibilities.
