Employment with Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration (FCBHA) requires applicants to be tested and certified by the State Civil Service Commission. The civil service, or merit system, tests, hires, and promotes people based on their qualifications and ability to perform a particular kind of work. The process is administered by the State Civil Service Commission.
From the applicants, the commission creates a “Local Government” list of potential candidates for positions being recruited. Employment preference may be given to Fayette County residents.
Detailed information and applications for Civil Service positions can be completed and submitted online at the Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission website. Paper applications and test announcement information can also be obtained by contacting the State Civil Service Commission.
FCBHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. If you would like to be considered for a position and you need additional information about the application process, please call 724-430-1370 and ask for the Human Resource Assistant.
