The free event takes place July 30 at Jacobs Creek Park.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will host a free, introductory event for all those interested in learning how to fish and the state requirements to do so.
The event takes place 6 to 8 p.m. July 30 at Fayette County’s Jacobs Creek Park. All ages are welcome.
PFBC staff will cover fishing basics and safety practices before participants begin fishing for the evening. All equipment, bait and instruction materials will be provided, and no fishing licenses are required.
Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment.
