    The Agricultural Land Preservation Board administers the county program for the purchase of agriculture conservation easements within agriculture security areas, encourages the use of additional farmland preservation, and promotes efforts to support the agriculture industry within Fayette County. Regularly scheduled meetings are held at 8 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Meetings are held in the Main Building of the Fayette County Fairgrounds, located at: 132 Pechin Road, Dunbar, PA 15431

  1. Prison Board of Inspectors Monthly Meeting

    Regularly scheduled meetings occur at 9:15 am on the last Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held in the Commissioners’ Conference Room, except for the final meeting of each quarter, when the regularly scheduled meeting is held in the Fayette County Prison, per County Code.

  2. Demonstration Vegetable Gardens: Children's Program

    Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Fayette County in Partnership with the Connellsville Area Garden Club and the Carnegie Library is offering a series of vegetable garden educational opportunities.

    The lectures and hands-on demonstrations are a great way to start your own vegetable garden or to enhance your knowledge for the experienced vegetable gardener. Lectures will be held in the library followed by hands-on demonstrations at the garden in Cameron park across from the Carnegie Library.

    In addition to the lectures, a master gardener will be available to answer questions every Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the vegetable garden (weather permitting) beginning April 22 throughout the growing season.
