Judicial Emergency - MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT COURTS REMAIN OPEN

Declaration of Judicial Emergency dated 2020 7 28

Per the order of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, dated May 27, 2020, a judicial emergency is declared in the Fourteenth District for the following period:  July 29, 2020 through August 12, 2020. PLEASE NOTE:  MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT COURTS REMAIN OPEN AND OPERATING.

The operation of Rule of Criminal Procedure 600(c) shall be suspended in the Fourteenth Judicial District during the period of the local judicial emergency.

Public access to Courtrooms and Court-related Offices is limited.  At the discretion of the Presiding Judge, proceedings may be held in person, by telephone, or by video conference.  Attorneys and litigants are asked to confirm proceedings with the Presiding Judge’s chambers.
