Adopt a Road Clean up

Great American Cleanup 2019 on Penn and Locust Streets

Fayette County held its Adopt A Road clean up on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, in conjunction with the Great American Clean Up.

Sheila Shea, Recycling Coordinator/Stormwater Manager, along with Jill Frinzi, Joe Czuchan and Carl Williams volunteered to pick up trash in Uniontown along Penn Street, Locust Street, the intersection of Penn and Gallatin as well as in Redstone Creek behind the courthouse. The volunteers picked 12 bags of trash and 4 huge unbaggables (fencing, signs and cardboard boxes).
