Fayette County Infrastructure Bank

Moving Fayette Forward
With a vision focused on future growth and development, the Fayette County Board of Commissioners established the Office of Economic Development in 2021. Its goal is to establish community connections and encourage partnership between all 42 Fayette County municipalities, affording greater advancement opportunities.

We boast world-class medical access, with WVU Medicine - Uniontown Hospital, Penn Highlands Hospital, and a plethora of specialty, primary and urgent care offices, as well as ease of access to health care networks in Pittsburgh and Morgantown, West Virginia. Fayette County hosts quality, mixed-use housing developments and senior housing in diverse neighborhoods. Educational opportunities are ample, with six public school districts, two career training centers, and renowned post-secondary schools - Penn State Fayette: The Eberly Campus and Laurel Business Institute.

The Economic Development Office is currently working to establish a central database of vacant land; commercial or industrial buildings; or other properties for sale, rent or development in Fayette County.
