The Sheepskin Trail is a Rails-to-Trails project that will run approximately 33 miles from Dunbar Township to Point Marion Borough.
The Browns Run Trail is a Rails-To-Trails Project that follows abandoned Monongahela and B and O Lines that pass through the heart of the coal and coke region in German Township.
Dunlap Creek Park, located along Route 40 in Menallen Township, consists of 74 acres of woods, meadows, and a 50-acre lake that is used for boating and fishing.
Located along the Monongahela River in the southwestern portion of the County, German-Masontown Park is the largest of the County-owned parks.
Jacobs Creek Park consists of 100 acres straddling Route 982 and contains pavilions, a 60-acre lake for fishing and boating, and a playground.
