It is the mission of the Tax Assessment Office to ensure uniformity and fairness in setting property values in Fayette County. The staff works directly with local authorities, tax collectors and property owners in a professional and courteous manner.
Until further notice, the Director and Staff of the Department of Tax Assessment respectfully request that you conduct all business with the office either by phone or email. The Office will not be taking walk-ins.

There are 42 municipalities, however, the County Treasurer collects the County Tax for Connellsville, Ohiopyle and Uniontown, therefore there are 39 elected tax collectors collecting County Taxes.
Fayette County is pleased to offer all property assessment related data on this site at no charge to our taxpayers.
Clean & Green is a state law that allows qualifying agricultural and forestland to be assessed for its use rather than fair market value.
